In
general domain names under .BIZ can have 3 different statuses.
- STATUS: OK
The .BIZ
name is live. If a domain name has the status of
"O.K.," it indicates the name is live and
available for the awarded Registrant to have full use of the
name.
- STATUS : Server Hold
The .BIZ
name is on 30-day Hold/Server Hold, from the registration
date onwards . If a domain name has an IP Claim against it,
it is automatically put on a 30-day hold, even if the only
IP-Claim the Registry received was the one the current
domain name holder filed.
- STATUS: Inactive
The name
is on Registry Reserve. If Domain Status is on "Server
Hold" and the Registrant contact information is
populated with the word "Pending," then the name
is on Registry Reserve. A name on Registry hold indicates
that the competent Registry for .BIZ domain names has not
assigned the domain name to any Registrant. This applies
primarily to those domain names for which there were
multiple applicants during the pre-launch process. These
names have been placed on Registry Reserve pending further
legal review. These names go live as soon as possible, but
the competent Registry has not yet given further indications
as to when that will happen..
